Soft Matte Primer

I love it!

Best primer for my skin! I tested a lot of base! Great on mature skin with pores!

not as effective as other primers I've tried, leaves me feeling a bit greasy and makeup doesn't stay put with it, foundation still sinks into my pores. I've got combination skin with a little texture.

Certain skin types only

Used this product for a couple of weeks and it was nice. It just didn't do well for my skin type. I'm oily/dry and this clung to my dry spots. Not the best smell but it held my makeup well when it did work. Wanted to love

24 hour makeup

This product stinks and does not feel like other primers. BUT your makeup will stay on all day long if you use this before applying your makeup. Do not put on after moisturizer and do not combine with other primers.

Works wonders makes my face look good with the makeup no patchy makeup at all this product is definitely for you if you have oily skin

Slight burning from some chemical in the ingredien

Used for almost 1 mnth now. It burns on some patches on my face. Guess some chemical in the mix that causes burning. The burning goes away in about 30 secs but it does cause dry patches after like the creaminess

For me personally with combo skin this did not work out. It separated horribly and also the smell was that of chemicals so it was hard to wear since I have sensory issues.

I like it, but not necessarily mattifying

It works well and keeps makeup from settling into lines and pores, but it doesn't do much to mattify my skin.

Oily

i’m an oily girl period. i had high hopes for this but it let me down bad. i tested it out just at home and by the end of 6hrs just studying, cleaning, & cooking, i was super oily

Heat Rash

I really wanted to love this primer. I was gifted some money for my birthday and really wanted to try out the whole collection so I bought it all and immediately when I put the primer on my face I started to break out in a heat rash across my cheeks, chin and neck :(

Je suis agréablement surprise par la qualité de cette base de teint. Ne connaissant pas la marque NARS jusqu'à présent je suis ravie de l'avoir découverte. Mon teint est unifié, mes petites imperfections sont comme camouflées, et mon maquillage tient toute la journée. Le Soft Matte Primer laisse ma peau toute douce, non grasse et non collante, soit très confortable pour le restant de la journée. La texture est agréable à appliquer et pénètre vraiment rapidement, quant à son odeur elle est discrète. En gros vous l'aurez compris, je vous recommande ce produit.

Worth the time for more natural lasting look

Really makes a difference for oily skin and doesn't seem to cause a breakout on sensitive skin. Make goes on much more smoothly and last with much. Less oily breakthrough. Doesn't need much. Use sponge blender after foundation.
