Base Tape Hydrating Primer

I just finished a bottle! It’s really hydrating and I love it since I get dry patches on my skin when I do my make up by this product really helps avoiding that! 🤌🏼

I have been using this product for years! I tried the Tatcha one and instantly regretted it because it didn’t give me that perfect prepped skin like this does. This gives so much hydration and your skin feels so nice and makes the makeup application process even better. 10/10 would recommend !!!

The primer has a lightweight and non oily consistency but I have a lot of acne and textured skin and after a few hours (by lunchtime on an office day) my makeup had moved around and left my skin looking dry and patchy

I recently tried the Base Tape Hydrating Primer, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. This primer is a game-changer for my makeup routine. The hydrating formula feels lightweight on the skin, creating a smooth canvas for foundation application. It keeps my makeup in place all day, preventing any creasing or fading. I love how the Base Tape Primer adds a boost of hydration to my skin, making it perfect for those with dry or combination skin types. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and plump, which helps my foundation glide on effortlessly. Additionally, a little goes a long way with this product, making the bottle last longer than I anticipated.

Works okay. I find that after a few hours, a lot of my makeup has moved around/skin and texture underneath is visible. I also found that after using this for a few consecutive days, I felt like there was build up on my skin due to this product (clogged pores) and I really needed to exfoliate. Also, the packaging is sort of cheap and the label scratched off a week after buying.

Can't get enough!

Returned the MILK hydrogrip primer and replaced it with this. No regrets! This is so hydrating, has a mild-to-no scent, and grips makeup at a decent rate.

Fills in pores and adds a glow!

I love this mid range primer! It does the job whether under powder foundation or liquid foundation. It gives a slight glow (without sparkles) and is super hydrating. I am not a fan of the coconut smell (I am clearly in the minority here) but it dissipates quickly. Don't know why this primer is so underrated.

Should buy

It's really light on skin, doesn't clog your pores, the smell is so pleasant.. Definitely recommend it

This primer helps my makeup stay all day, but even without makeup on top I feel like it gives me a "clean girl" aesthetic
