Avocado Melt® Retinol Eye Cream

I had high hopes for this eye cream but the opening to the jar is so small I could barely get my pinky finger in it. Sadly I had to return it. So I can’t really comment on the product itself but I gave it two stars for nice jar.

Moisture, helps with fine lines

This was ultra moisturizing and helped with fine lines.

Really helps with my dark circles

I have dry, sensitive skin, fine lines, and awful dark circles. This stuff doesn't irritate my eyes, and I wake up looking more rested. I hope it's never discontinued!

TIP + REVIEW

TIP: For anyone having problems with getting the product out because of the packaging, try storing it sideways and not upright (don't do it when its full of product because it will get in the lid). What happens is the product will settle down sideways so instead of digging in the packaging for product you kind of just have to insert your finger... such a weird way to say it but what can you do when the packaging sucks but you love the product? (See pics). Bonus: the packaging is irregular so it won't really slide and possibly fall down. Caution though. REVIEW: So far, it's the only eye cream that works well for me in general. others have almost always burned my eyeballs or caused it to be extremely red or irritated. I've also had eye cream cause me milia under the eyes. I don't use it in the AM though. To me, this product is moisturizing, AND ESPECIALLY BRIGHTENING. I am in an accelerated program which causes me to be awake at all hours of the night and when I use this product, my under eyes don't get as dark anymore. I also notice the one line under my left eye (chronic side sleeper) to be less noticeable when using this product. I had a trial-size version, but loved it so much that I purchased the bigger version. Now on my 2nd bottle.

Kind of reminds me of the keihls avocado eye cream except this one doesn’t give me milia. Hydrating, but that’s about it. I haven’t noticed any changes in fine lines or puffiness

Very Hydrating and nice

application nice and thick but not in a bad way. seems to have helped a Lil so far. Very hydrating will check back in a few weeks

Good for mature skin

I have sensitive skin all around my eyes, so I take caution on products I can use. This one doesn't cause irritation. It provides the moisture needed and doesn't roll my makeup when applying. I'll continue to use these for the long run. A little goes a long way, so this small jar should last a good while, I believe it's worth the investment. *Good for mature skin

Retinol WITHOUT irritation!

I love the idea of using an eye cream which contains Retinol, but whenever I've tried one before, I've ended up with redness and irritation. Not this time! Thanks to 'time-released' Retinol. It comes in a cute, tiny glass jar which has a very narrow neck, making it a task to scoop out the cream if you lose the small spatula that comes with it. It has a rich texture yet somehow melts into the skin quickly. In the 1 week that I've been using this, I wake up with an under-eye area that looks well-rested, even if sleep wasn't the best! It also has a brightening effect, thanks to the generous amount of Niacinamide in it. Will be purchasing more of this once it runs out! ~ My Top 5 Beauty Must-Have list ~ 1. Needs a reformulation

From the jar design to the very thick pasty like texture, this is not worth your money. Not easy to apply and you'll end up pulling your undereye skin while applying this. I didn't feel my eyes were hydrated or smooth the morning after. I ended up using it on my hands at night to finish the product - really have a hard time believing this formula is meant for undereye skin.

Listen, I will not shut up about this stuff. It works miracles. I have *very* heavy lidded eyes, and legit my very first morning after using it I saw a HUGE difference. The effect goes away if you stop using it (it's me, hi, I'm super forgetful esp at night) but oh my god it is worth the money. I will be (im)patiently waiting for a mini to be available

It works!

I’ve been using this product at least once a day since I’ve received it and can say that I’ve noticed my dark circles have lightened. Didn’t bring this in a two week work trip and definitely noticed my underwea were darker than before I left. I’m sensitive to retinol and this doesn’t cause me any issues. A little goes a long way.

who thought this jar shape was a good idea?

i can't tell if it worked or not but the container is so ridiculously uncomfortable that I will not re purchase. When the product is almost finished, you'll have a hard time getting product out of the ridiculously-shaped jar.
