Bumpy bummer

I tried this on the back of my hand in store and was very excited to add this as a final step in my nighttime routine. I have normal to dry skin, leaning more dry in winter, but generally good about introducing new products slowly and one at a time to see how my skin reacts. I had read some reviews about bumps developing after a couple uses, but my skin isn’t usually very reactive—I didn’t want to believe it but after 2-3 nights of use, I developed colorless bumps all over my face. Now im trying to heal and smooth texture back out and have discontinued use of this. Bummed.

Absolutely a must for cold weather

Fantastic moisturiser. I suffer with very dry skin, especially during winter months. This moisturiser leaves my skin glowing all year around.

Love this! I didn’t have any bumps as mentioned in other reviews. Leaves my skin feeling supple and hydrated.

Allergic Reaction

Maybe it was just my skin, but I got a really bad allergic reaction to this. I woke up and had so many bumps on my face my eyes were swollen ! The bumps spread down to my neck. Basically hives.

Must have for super dry skin

My skin has incredibly dry patches, that will like peel off it gets so bad. This has been a fantastic help with getting my skin where I need it to be

I have sensitive, oily combination and acne-prone skin. I prefer using products that are simple and scent-free. I have been using Clinique moisturizer for years, and it is great, but my skin doesn't feel hydrated enough in the morning. So I decided to give this a try after how much my skin loves the milky jelly cleanser (the only cleanser that doesn't irritate my skin and actually calms it significantly). What a great surprise! It doesn't happen overnight, but I have noticed that my skin texture has improved and is much less bumpy, and I'm not halfway through the jar yet. I only use it at night after Paula Choice's 0.3% retinol. I do feel that it is a bit too heavy for me to use during the day; hence, the night use only. Overall, super happy with it!

So perfect, exactly what I’ve been looking for!!

I was sceptical due to the mixed reviews of this product, but it’s perfect. I’ve been using tretinoin and have extremely dry skin, and this is the only product that I feel actually hydrates my skin rather than just sitting on the surface of my face (even compared to LRP cicaplast). It also leaves such a perfect dewy look in the morning when I wake up after using it! Just bought my second full size container.

Must-have for dry skin

If you have dry skin, you will be so happy to discover this product. My nighttime routine is cleanse (sometimes), moisturizer, retinol, then this over top. It’s a dream. I need a bigger size offering!

Fabulous for barrier repair!

I have dry, sensitive, rosacea-prone skin and I could not love this more. It's what I wish the original La Mer cream was - just as thicck and occlusive, calming and soothing, but unscented and petrolatum-free. I use this morning and evening, all seasons except for the hottest, most humid of days. I am somewhat acne prone and have had no problems with this cream, however I do think it'd likely be far too rich for those with oily skin. As for those reviewers reporting a rash, I suspect it may be a latent but allergy to the babussu nut oil or the cupuacu fruit oil? Probably safe to spot test first!
