Better for pores

Had a Dior brow styler that I liked except it gave me pimples in my brows due to waxy composition. This was recommended as a good option and it works well too. Dark blonde 02 has a bit more warmth to it (slight reddish hint?) or so it seems compared to the Dior colour I had, but it lasts and looks natural…plus no more pimples.

Nice pencil but when you sharpen it there’s a cellophane type of layer and it keeps breaking off and you have to keep sharpening. I lost half of the pencil. You just cannot sharpen it without breaking off. Waste of money.

Awful new formula

This product does not go on easily. I have to go over the spot on my skin multiple times and have to re sharpen the product to help it apply. I've used in the past couple of months the save amount I used in almost a year with their previous formula. This was a huge waste of money, and I was a huge fan of their original formula. Now I need to find another brand that works and spend more money (which I don't have as a school teacher with a disabled husband.)

Finally, a blonde brow pencil/powder in a warm tone! All the other blonde eyebrow solutions I’ve tried (Anastasia, Benefit, etc) are too ashy. Blonde 01 is more golden. I didn’t notice that much of a change when they reformulated this pencil. I love that it is a long-lasting powdery formula - it does not tug nor pull out my eyebrows like the waxier pencils do. Love it!!

Gives a pretty, shimmery glow to brows and blends easily. Seems to have dimensional pigments - unique. It does tend to rub off easily, however. Would purchase again.

Why is there plastic inside the pencil?

I love this pencil, but why is there plastic surrounding the pigment? (Like Between the pigment and the wood.) Every time I sharpen it, it messes up the product and I end up losing some. Or scratching my eyebrow from plastic that was cut by my pencil sharpener. Looking for a new product bc this is bizarre.

Not the same formula anymore

I've been Lancome Powdery eyebrow pencil user for the past 25 years, at least (started as a teenager). Never in those years did Lancome make any changes to its formula, until last year. What and why happened, only they will know, but this is absolutely not the same pencil anymore. I always used the Taupe shade as I have dark brown/black hair color and it was just perfect. The old pencil was always powdery enough that you could apply it without it smudging, not leaving enough pigment, or just wearing off. With the new formula, there's no Taupe color anymore and I switched to Dark Blonde shade as it's the closest to what Taupe used to be. The new formula does not apply nearly as smooth as the old one and there are even patches of my brow/skin where it just won't leave the same pigment/shade as on other parts. This never used to be a problem before. Fortunately, once the old formula was discontinued I was still able to trace it online from other merchants and I bought more than a year of supply of it. Therefore, I now use the old with the new formula as I the latter just won't deliver nearly as good of a color as I was used to. I tried many other brands too in hopes that I can replace Lancome altogether, but until I run out of my old pencils, I think I'm going to buy some time until that decision. Very disappointed that Lancome made that change, I'd just like to know which male executive decided that what was good for decades suddenly needs to change...

Great value and coverage

I know this doesn’t provide the definition some are looking for but it’s such a great product for filling in sparse brows. Goes on nicely and lasts all day. And an incredible value!! I’m almost embarrassed to say I had one pencil last me almost a year!

love the color range

some of the reviews i read said it was waxy and did not glide on well. mine was fine. goes on great. better then the expensive givenchy pencil i have (in dark brown from sephora). i am obsessed with brow pencils. i prefer the sharpening kind and not having an angled tip (as one reviewer posted) doesn’t bother me. i feel like you can get a great application with this pencil. i also use powder on top the my pencils (i use KVD powder in walnut) and top off with clear brow gel by ABH. and i get tons of compliments on how good my brows look. i also own estee lauder pencil im brunette. that’s a good smooth application as well.
