Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 - Eau de Parfum Intense

My absolute favorite!

I received a sample with one of my orders and I have never ordered something so fast. I was smelling my wrists constantly for the rest of the night lol. This is the first Kayali scent that I have tried & I can’t wait to try others!

Great for Layering, Not My Favorite Standalone

I’m a big fan of Kayali perfumes and have collected almost all of them. This particular scent doesn’t work as well for me on its own—my skin chemistry seems to bring out the wood notes a bit too much, which makes it feel slightly unbalanced. However, I’ve found that it layers beautifully with other Kayali fragrances. I really like pairing it with Vanilla 28 and Eden Juicy Apple—the sweetness and fruitiness of those scents soften the woodiness and create a more balanced and wearable combination.

Not good

I tried this in store and loved the sweet smell but they were out so I ordered online and the color is different, doesn’t smell the same and instant headache. It’s so strong I will be returning it.

Truly unique scent, like yummy ice cream!

This is a very unique scent in my opinion. I sprayed it on at the store and I could not stop smelling the hand I sprayed it on-it was such an interesting scent. I do smell the pistachio, and the whipped cream. Reading the description prior to going to sephora, I had initially wondered how a perfume could smell like gelato-but it manages to pull it off. Some reviewers state it smells like powder. With that in mind, I smelled my hand again-yes, it does smell powdery. But I did not make that connection until I read the reviews and thought "Oh yeah, it can come across as a powdery scent". The spray from the tester lasted hours after I had left the store. The staying power is quite good. While I love how unique this scent is, the staying power, and the creamy-ness of it, something about this scent seemed very...flat and child-like. It's almost too "light and yummy" if that makes sense. I believe if there had been an added deeper, muskier note of some kind then this perfume would have been one I would keep. I bought the travel size but I will be returning it. I think this would be a great perfume for someone who is a teen or in their early 20's. It truly isn't bad, it just was not for me. I think many people would love this perfume. It amazes me how it does mimic the scent of ice cream. Perhaps it would be good layered with a deeper scent.

I don’t know how people are smelling “baby powder” in this. I HATE the smell of baby powder. This perfume is one of my favorites and I get so many compliments on it. I do think they could have upped the pistachio notes. I will absolutely buy this again once finished.

Pistachio where?

I don’t know where a single one of the key notes is in this. All I can smell is a baby powder smell. SO sad this didn’t come across like all the lovely sounding notes.

Instant headache

I really wanted to like this. Had high hopes! I love the yum boujee marshmallow so got the yum pistachio. Yum pistachio gave me an instant headache.

Nasty!!!!

I’m a big fan of pistachio so I was thrilled to see this perfume. I received a small sample with a purchase. I sprayed it and immediately it’s not all all what I expected nor wanted. It’s so nasty, smells like cheap baby powder that will not go away! I had to wash my sweater that I was wearing three time to get the disgusting smell out 

Creamy pistachio ice cream with whipped cream

She’s good good. One of my fave Kayali scents sweet gelato shop vibes. Lasts forever on my skin. I love wearing this scent, it legit brings a smile to my face every time. Knocking off 1 star bc I never get compliments.
