This is my first Killian Paris perfume and I loved it so much! I is warm, spicy, sexy, and mysterious. I love layering it with a musky vanilla perfume for my personal perfect mixture. It lasts all day and is definitely worth the price!

Kinda forgettable …

The fragrance description for Sacred Wood had me really intrigued to sample it … and while to a degree my experience did seem to emulate the description, it was overall quite underwhelming. The main problem being there’s no projection whatsoever. The only time I really noticed it each time I sampled it was during the initial sprays - which to me was kinda unpleasant as I was getting a sharp, cleaning product vibe. After a few minutes, I go nose-blind to it and seem to forget about it. It doesn’t project at all (as compared to say, Angels’ Share), I couldn’t even get wafts throughout the day as I moved around. I had to put my nose under my shirt (where I spray) to try to grab a sense of the scent. So the initial spray is pretty bad - got over it within minutes - and ultimately sort of forgot I even had on the fragrance. A few hours in, when I sniff under my shirt to try to figure out what happened, I just get a faint rather dry wood? It was unremarkable and I lost interest tbh. However towards the end of my wearing, about 8 hours from initial spray, I did sniff under my shirt and noted a very pleasant creamy, almost milky, musk. I loved the end - but again no projection - it was just a surprise when I sniffed myself. And in my case, there are fragrances out there that can deliver that creamy musk much stronger than Sacred Wood, so I don’t really think this fragrance at its price point is worth it. Grateful for being able to sample it though.

Not my vibe

This perfume is smoky, but it doesn’t stay that way. I notice in the dry down that there’s something masculine in it that almost smells like an expensive soap. It’s earthy but not my favorite of the smokier scents. I wouldn’t purchase a full size, it smells too masculine for my taste (and a bit dated). As far as longevity, it lasts a long time. On bare skin I could still smell it hours after application.

It’s a hard pass for me unfortunately

I wanted to love this sooo bad but unfortunately it did not agree with me. Initial opening and spray, i found it to be too intense of a woody scent for me. I got an immediate headache and nausea all day (yes the scent lasted all day so at least that’s a good thing if you love it). This scent is very versatile but i would recommend for night time fall weather if it agrees with you. NB- do not blind buy this! It’s risky for sensitive noses.

An ode to the Mystic Woods!

Honestly this fragrance is pretty! It wasn’t as strong as i thought it was going to be and that’s exactly what i love about it. I feel like it’s perfect for a night out and the ode of a mystic feeling! On me it last about 5 hours and wow did i get a few compliments. It really is a star stunner!

Love this but not for me!

I live how this smells however it’s not for me unfortunately. I underestimated the woody scent since it’s a unisex fragrance, but I would say this lean more towards masculine for me. I love the scent on others but I don’t like it on me because it’s too strong. I’m move of a floral scent girly.

I love this fragrance for Fall. I've always been the fruity floral fresh type, but I love this woody fresh scent. It leans masculine, but I'm okay with that. My only drawback is that I do smell a hint of mosquito repellent.

Omg this is so good. I got the travel sized and my mom and my sister smelled it with me and the friends and fam was going on and they just bought the full sized. It’s like a woody scent, the smell is very unique and elegant and it’s lasted all day on me!

This perfume is perfect. Has a very unique but expensive smelling fragrance that lasts for hours. Getting notes of a woodsy aroma. Perfect for a night out. Even my husband is a fan and loves it. Will definitely use this more in the fall/winter seasons!

Herbal and woodsy

The Sacred Wood Eau de Parfum was *almost* a fragrance I enjoyed. The deep woodsy scent with very herbal notes. Sandalwood is detectable but there was an unidentifiable scent within the fragrance that I just didn't care for. The fragrance was not terribly long lasting, either. This one is not for me, sadly.

Amazing unisex woodsy scent

I love this scent! You definitely get sandalwood, I get tobacco as the main note. The Amyris has a sweet, balsamic, and woody scent with a light pepper or ginger-like high note. The copahu balm has a nice woodsy spicy smell. It’s an all around balanced scent that reminds me of the woods or a forest but a nice grounding spice. I think it’s unisex it could work for anyone. It lasts all day long and would be a wonderful scent to to stack other scents on top of.

I got a sample size of this Kilian Paris Sacred Wood perfume. I love the sandalwood scent and the sweetness of it. Also the sample size is cute and nice. Price is little bit on the high end though. Overall I would recommend this product.
