Lime Basil & Mandarin - Scent Diffuser

Something changed

Previously bought this diffuser several times and was more than happy with the product, lasted just under a year each time and was strong but the last two I bought in December is almost finished, a quarter of the time and was not as strong, so disappointed. Something changed as they are now advertised as only lasting 3 months and is now not worth the money, so won't be buying again.

The scent of elegance and cozy sensuality afloat!

I discovered this scent in a friends (home) office, and immediately fell in love with it. Most of the time, I find scent diffusers too strong or overwhelming. This one is just right. I took a screen shot of the diffuser and ordered one when I returned home. I've been addicted ever since. The negative reviews suggesting the product is weak, make me think that perhaps there was a specific batch or lot that wasn't produced properly or just "missed" on some level. So far, I've had the good fortune of receiving a consistently perfect product. One of the most pleasant and welcoming scents we've encountered.

I am a fan of JM products apart from this diffuser. I treated myself to this for Xmas and was so disappointed. Does not smell good at all.

Complete waste of nearly £80 !

I wanted a Jo malone diffuser for so long as well as the pleasing aesthetics of the product I wanted to exp the fresh smell in my home ... my husband bght me one for Xmas and I can honestly say for the cost of this I am very dissatisfied I expected more from such a present brand..this has hindered me from purchasing any other products

So disappointed

I have always really loved this scent so this time I purchased the hand wash and hand lotion to go with it in the downstairs toilet. The reed diffuser is so disappointing, you can barely smell it and it is a relatively small room. I've added all reeds too. Not sure what has changed but I if I could I would send it back! Also no minature gift in package which should have accompanied purchase.

Please change formula back!

I bought this in the past for our new home and it smelt amazing. I have since bought two more (thinking maybe I'd got a a one off dud) and neither smelt of anything at all. A huge waste of money. It's such a shame because I'd pay the money to make my house smell like this but you can only smell it if you put your nose right into it. Completely pointless. Please let your customers know when you change the formula back so we can buy it again.

Where has the aroma gone?

My daughters bought me this last Christmas and I loved it so asked for it again this year. I'm SO disappointed! You can't smell the aroma unless you stand 3 inches away from the product. Have you changed the reeds you use? Very disappointing ☹️

Wish I'd listened to the reviews

I love Jo Malone products and love this scent but this has been a total waste of £72 - a lot of money for something that has no smell! I am deeply disappointed

Heavenly!

I was gifted this product, along with a candle as a house-warming gift from my property developer. Absolutely in love with its fragrance in my bedroom. I've used 8 of the 10 reeds as the bedroom is a large space & the 8 reeds give the perfect amount of subtle scent to the room. I hope there are refils for this....

Really disappointed

I have used the Lime, Basil and Mandarin Reed Diffuser in my home for years. The smell is my favourite and the quality has always been second to none, each diffuser has lasted many months. I purchased one last week - I'll be honest, I read the plentiful negative reviews and was surprised by them, but I thought I'd take the plunge anyway - more than five years of satisfaction can't be wrong surely? It turns out that it can be. I don't know what's changed but something has - I can't smell the fragrance at all unless I stand right over the diffuser. I read a review where the reviewer queried whether people's sense of smell has been altered by Covid, but I've asked literally everyone who comes into the house if they can smell it and the answer is always a resounding no. Whatever you've done Jo Malone, please undo it. If you're considering buying one, I'd very sadly say really don't bother making an expensive mistake until things are back to how they used to be.

Disappointed

It's a pleasant scent but it did not last. I have used this product in our main house but ordered another diffuser for our new home. It simply didn't work like the previous ones that lasted for almost 9 months. This was gone in a little over two months. That's not acceptable

Disappointed with Lime Basil & Mandarin Scent Surround Diff

I recently purchased your Lime Basil & Mandarin Scent Surround™ Diffuser, and I am writing to express my disappointment with the product. To put it frankly, this diffuser has not met my expectations at all. I was initially drawn to Jo Malone products because of their reputation for quality and long-lasting scents. However, the Lime Basil & Mandarin diffuser has fallen far short of these expectations. First and foremost, the diffuser lasted for an incredibly brief period - just 20 days. I expected a product of this caliber to provide a long-lasting and continuous fragrance throughout my living space. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The scent started fading after just a few days, and by the end of the third week, it was virtually undetectable. Considering the premium price point of Jo Malone products, I find it extremely disheartening that the diffuser's scent did not last longer. It feels like a waste of money to invest in a product that provides such a short-lived and lackluster olfactory experience. I understand that scents can vary based on personal preferences, but this was not a matter of personal preference. The issue here is the product's quality and performance, which have not lived up to the standards I associate with Jo Malone. I hope you can appreciate my disappointment, and I urge you to consider improving the longevity and intensity of the scents in your diffuser products. I believe this would greatly enhance the overall customer experience and maintain the reputation Jo Malone is known for. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.
