Gucci did it again! I love their bronzer but this may take the cake. This is buttery, lit-from-within, ethereal, and skin-like. It’s also super buildable, blendable and plays well with liquid blushes, or at least the ones I use. And opal pink is so beautiful + natural on dark brown skin!!

The color is wonderful and applies so well. I will be using this all the time. The packaging is stunning and makes me excited to show my friends my new highlighter. Everyone is loving it that I’ve shown!

Great light or strong opacity highlighter

I received this product for free in exchange for review, and I think it might be my favorite highlighter that hasn’t been discontinued, but I’m somewhat surprised to say that because I’d passed over purchasing it after seeing reviews (which were good, but not consistent with what I look for so I think this has a lot of versatility). Personally when I use highlight I want everything to look like my skin rather than stand out as makeup. To achieve this result, given that I have light-medium skin with a very pink undertone, I look for a light/medium depth with a pink/peach color, no noticeable shimmer and low opacity. Originally looking at this product the color and lack of shimmer looked on point, but I thought it might be a bit too deep (looked medium+) and I questioned the opacity for personal use since many reviewers who want a “highlighter you can see from space” were singing its praise. Upon use I found that color-wise shade 04 was great for what I’m looking for, similar Doll Dynasty from Hindash (which is a bit lighter on both sides of the shift) or Pat McGrath’s Divine Rose in pink packaging (though the Gucci leans a bit more reddish bronze than pink on the non-gold end of the shift). The depth was in fact a medium, maybe medium + by my estimate, but I didn’t see an off shift with light use on my skin. When it comes to opacity, where I feel this really shines, you have the ability to apply the product very naturally with a light hand or build it up for a high opacity look. There are also no noticeable sparkle particles in the formula, though you can make it very metallic with a high-opacity application. Lastly there’s no noticeable scent I could pick up from application and the compact feels very solid. So specifics aside, where does this fall compared to the other products mentioned above or elsewhere in my collection? First I can’t think of a product that hasn’t been discontinued I think easily beats the product. The Hindash is more or less on-par quality wise, but for some reason the Gucci feels a bit more easily to place naturally on my skin especially with the gold shift leaning a bit deeper. Pat McGrath’s Divine Rose may still be available, but I find the pink shift is a bit too unnatural so while it worked for a while I might give that away with the Gucci/Hindash coming in. Hourglass’s Sculpture palette (gold 6-pan that seems to pop up off/on during the holidays) has a good highlighter but I prefer a slightly pinker shift. Finally I have my preexisting favorite Chanel’s Reve de Camelia, which was limited edition and can no longer be purchased but has barely any base pigment. I have to say I think the Chanel is still my personal favorite, but only because it’s so light on the skin (with none of Gucci’s versatility to build up shine/opacity). That said, if I had to go purchase something right now I’d pick the Gucci and if I was recommending to anyone who liked a variety of opacities Gucci would likely be at the top of my list if the price point is within that person’s budget.

Great gentle highlighter

Usually I don’t use highlight products because I don’t like looking oily, but this highlighter is a game changer! It’s very gentle, powdery creamy, feels so good on a skin and looks natural. The packaging is so fancy too Super satisfied!

Melts into your skin

gorgeous gold packaging-so high end. The pigment it high-but blends. It’s like a second skin-I was really impressed with the quality. So different than drug stores. Fragrance free!

Adds a nice beautiful shimmer to my cheeks!

Thanks to Gucci for the free Glow Highlighter for my review! The packaging is so a beautiful gold color. The product blends very well on my skin and the texture is very smooth. It adds a nice shimmer pigmentation onto my skin and there’s not much of a scent to it. Love it and would totally recommend!

Gorgeous, glowy highlighter!

This highlighter is gorgeous! I have used it daily since receiving it. It’s a pretty, glowy pink. Highly recommend it for the payoff and blendability! The packaging it also amazing. I will likely purchase this when I hit pan.
