Not for me

I love Nars but this was really disappointing. :/ I received a sample so maybe that’s why it didn’t work like some people are saying, but the brush is way to big and blocky to apply without making a mess, my eyelashes were coated but did not stay up at all, and after only a few hours of working indoors it started leaking and smudging around my eyes. I’m hoping this is user error but I’m glad I was able to test it with a sample before purchasing it blindly.

Easy Application

#sweepstakes I was looking to replace a mascara from another brand that has discontinued. This mascara glides on nicely and has an easy application. For the most part it stays on with little smudges. Overall, it will be one I may reach for again.

Good volume but will give you dark circles

Does give pretty good volume initially but wears off easily and doesn’t stay in place. Lengthwise, doesn’t help. Product easily settles below the waterline and makes you look like a raccoon lol. The wand is great though, and applies well. Wouldn’t recommend.

I need more time to decide

I use it everyday as a this is a first time I am using it and I. Need more time to be able to judge it.

Initially it’s great. Truly volumizing, giving my lashes a very full and fluttery appearance. Unfortunately it became really flakey a couple of hours later into my work day. I spent the rest of the day wiping away flakes off of my face.

Don’t buy

Awful… makes me look like I have black eyes everyday I wear this. Super runny, does not last long.

Velvet Noir Dupe

I’ve been on the hunt for new holy Grail mascara since Marc Jacob’s Velvet Noir was discontinued, and I think I found it! Great volume and separation, no smudging, and no flaking 10/10 for me.

I don’t recommend

I wanted to love it so bad, but every time I’ve used it, my eye itches. And at the beginning I was like oh? Maybe it’s because I have an allergic reaction but nope! A lot of the mascara ends up in tiny pieces on my eyes.

Might make the lashes look good but it ends up smudged under the eye

I wish it was waterproof. Mascara is average and applicator is okay. I like volume look and I don’t think it delivers. I also notice on hot days it does smudge

My all time favorite mascara! I’ve tried others and always come back to this one.

i dont really like how it makes my asian lashes fall flat after putting it on. it also flakes a lot. it does make my lashes look longer
