Dosage: Rice-grain size

Texture: Velvety Balm

Glide the spatula lightly across the top of balm. Dot with fingertips and massage into skin. A little goes a long way. Use a rice-sized amount for the whole face.

Can be used alone or with makeup. Apply after SPF, before any makeup. Suitable for use on face, eye and lips. Replace the lid tightly after each use.

Perfect once I understood how to use it

First time I tried it it was pilling my makeu away and wasn’t good at all. But I decided to give it another try and started with a small amount then warmed it between my fingers and aplied a thin layer. It ewas amazing and blured my pores without clogging them.

Perfection!

I love the silk canvas primer! The other primer that’s liquid did not work as well so I was a little skeptical. First time I tried it today and it made my make up flawless and lasted all day and night! Goes on super smooth and a little goes a very long way! I love the whole line of Tatcha!

Silk Canvas

This primer delivers the softest texture to the skin without feeling weighted or tacky. I was surprised to see that very little covers the entire face. There is no chalky cast to the skin and delivers a natural, smooth priming for minimal foundation application

My opinion

This isn’t going to replace my other primer . My primer is tinted. No longer wear makeup has spf and I like the coverage better; however I found a great use for this. I take a fine brush , put it in my wrinkles then Pat . My wrinkles virtually disappear . Then I Soray with a face moisture soray let it dry then use my other primer . It’s just the look I waht

Amazing!

Leaves skin very soft. Can be used alone or with another layer of coverage. Do not use too much! It takes very little for this product to do it's job! If it looks heavy or fills your pores giving a polkadot appearance, you are using too much.

Meh. Decent texture, goes on

Meh. Decent texture, goes on well, doesn't pill, settles under makeup. Not extraordinary for what your paying for. I love a couple of Tatcha's products and will keep trying them in the future. But this one was just, well, meh.

Amazing results

I don’t wear foundation but I wanted something light to even skin tone and just give that “finished” look. This works so well. It gives a glow and I think it keeps my blush from sinking in to my skin.

Feels like luxury!

The package is art! The products are gold! The Silk Canvas glides on like, well, silk. It leaves your skin feeling and looking soft, bright and hydrated! It doesn’t feel like you’re covering your skin up, you’re accentuating your natural beauty.
