Doesn’t stay on the blow dryer at all. It’s so frustrating. I find myself actively avoiding it

Nothing special about this heavy and waste of money along with the dryer that has been replaced over and over by company.

Nothing special, any diffuser attachment on a regular hairdryer works the same, wish I hadn’t spent the money for the “DRYBAR” brand

More volume for my hair!

For reference, I have very long curly hair and I always use a hairdryer to dry my hair. I have the Drybar Buttercup Blow-Dryer and I needed to get a diffuser to help with the blow out. PROS: - It has rubber bands inside the attachment to the hairdryer that allow to adjust it and keep it in place. That should make it work for other hairdryers although I can not tell how good the fit is because I am using it with the same brand’s hairdryer. I have not experience any issues with the diffuser falling or moving but you must push it all the way in to secure it. - You can open or close holes by turning the top of the diffuser, letting more or less air to go through. - It is so beautiful. I love the bright yellow color combined with black. CONS: - It is pricey, but it does the job so I am really happy with my purchase. Very easy to use and works very well to get the curls you want!

I don’t love it. I was hoping I would get bouncy curls, but the ends of my hair don’t get curls.

Broke too easily

The other reviews are correct- the diffuser attachment does not attach securely to the dryer. In my case, the attachment fell off and broke so I'm pretty unhappy with the product. I did like the way it diffused my hair but the faulty design made it pretty irritating to use. I made sure to buy the specific Drybar diffuser so I did expect a more high quality product.

Very well made but didn't fit my dryer

I had a black orchid diffuser and I would have purchased another but the inner silicone/rubber ring is broken and it has been less than a year since I initially purchased. I would have repurchased another because it is large, dries efficiently, and leaves my hair with a reflective sheen. The reason that I wanted to try another diffuser is because it would get pretty hot to the touch. I am very impressed by the size of this diffuser and how well made it is (no exposed screws, no rough edges, etc). It is extremely sturdy. I deducted a point because the diffuser kept slipping off my dryer (Elchim 8th Sense Run) as the temperature increased. I've decided to return it, for that reason. Of note, it gets pretty warm to touch when on high heat. I believe it's worth a try if it fits your dryer.

This fits the Dyson air wrap perfectly!! Didn’t originally buy it for that reason, but it fits it perfectly and I haven’t had a single issue using it with it.

Bouncer doesn't fit Baby Buttercup

I bought the Bouncer to go on the hair dryer I already owned; it didn't fit. So I returned to the shop and bought the Baby Buttercup to match the Bouncer, whose box says it "Pairs Perfectly with Baby Buttercup!" No, it doesn't; the Bouncer fell off and one of the fingers broke off. I'm very unhappy! If I hold the Bouncer with my free hand while drying my hair, it does great things to my curly hair. But it doesn't stay attached as it should, and it's very hard to use.

Short arms

Hear me out first. I might be slightly stupid, but I couldn’t get the diffuser to connect securely to the dryer. It fits fine, and isn’t loose enough to come off without pulling it, but if I try to hold the hair dryer by the part of the defuser where it and the dryer overlap, the dryer falls. It’s a decent sized contraption when it’s put together and having short arms makes it difficult for me. Like I said, I may have just not yet figured out how to properly put it on so it stays on securely. Other than that, it’s great!
