this has a horrible sent. went on terrible. did not blend well. returned immediately

If you are over 40 this will make you look glowing

Every time I use this people asking about my skin. The trick is only one drop on each cheek and the excess rub it on the forehead.

The smell…like dog (seriously). Returning. I would skip this one. 

Horrible scent

Had a nice dewy coverage but the scent was unbearable. The product itself also gets very messy and unable to clean off.

Broke me out and earthy odor

Accentuates dry patches and broke me out. I got several white heads on my chin and between my brows. I was hoping this would be a great winter foundation, but I'm not sold on the finish. It's dewy but pigment sticks to dry flakes more so that Ilia True Skin, which i prefer over this. The Super Serum also has a muddy, earthy odor. I'm the shade Sable in True Skin and Tulum in Super Serum was the recommended shade according to Ilia's site, but it was a little too light despite the foundation oxidizing.

Hate to love it

The scent is unpleasant, and the bottle leaks everywhere; however, the product itself is amazing. Ilia, if you are reading this, please change the packaging.

absolutely awful

makes everything else I put on my face smudge, finish is greasy. absolutely awful, waste of money.

Took a sec to figure out but now it’s a staple.

Really the only way I found this worked on my textured, acne prone skin is by spraying setting spray before application and setting with powder. I spray the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray first (after moisturizer), then shake the foundation bottle and apply to my face and neck. I then use concealer where needed and setting with the Huda Beauty loose powder. Because there is an active ingredient, I did have patchy skin with this at first but that went away quickly. I really like this because I wanted something n that’s not so heavy and gives a more natural look. I also really like that it contains spf.

Wouldn’t recommend

Not great — weird smell, watery consistency, and peels after a couple of hours even on top of primer.

Wanted to love, but it’s just not good!

I really really wanted to love this product. I researched a lot before I got it. It’s not horrible, but it has light coverage and a somewhat watery consistency. I did get it to work but I had to let it dry a bit and then blend to built to cover my subtle imperfections. When I used a foundation brush very lightly with good technique you could still see brush strokes and I had to pat it out with a beauty blender. This would not work for oily skin at all. Dry is ok but still overly slippery. The comments about the chemical smell are true. I tried to overlook it bc I wanted to like it so much but I have to say it’s not pleasant. I wish I could give it a 4/5 but it’s decidedly a 3. Going to look again - maybe Hourglass or Chantecaille will work better.

A must-skip

I don’t understand how this is viral. The smell is so bad and it doesn’t go away. For a skin tint it’s super thick and yet coverage is very patchy. Even hours later it will transfer to anything that touches my face.

Lots I could say here. Transfers like crazy, no longevity (<5 hrs), oxidizes to orange, packaging leaks EVERYWHERE. Super patchy even when set with powder and spray
