What else you need to know:
· For deeper shades: Blend is your friend. Brushes are super important to get a smooth finish in the crease and across the lid. Not all deep shades have to be bold and graphic; blend out the deep mattes with a fluffy brush to give definition and shape to the eyes for a more low key look.
· For soft daytime looks: Build a light base using matte shades, adding shimmer across the lid using your finger, a flat brush or a sponge applicator.

Such a great palette
Again, one of the ultimate faves!! There isnt another eyeshadow palette like this around, very pigmented, different finishes from matte, metallics, the shimmer cream marble effect (which I love!) and pearly gloss hybrid which is nice on the lash line or tear duct or even on bare lids. The Naughty Nude eyeshadow palette is the sultry re-imagining of the brand's New Nude eyeshadow palette. You still get your selection of softer shades for a selection of more conservative and pretty-and-polished daytime looks, but this sequel palette also contains more bolder shades for a variety of smoky looks, with a flushed twist to them. The palette has 8 mattes [Filthy, Hypnotic, Untamed, Rough, Spicy, Arouse, Naughty & Juicy] to anchor your looks; the talc-free formula here is in line with the one in the brand's Obsession palettes and other large eyeshadow palettes; easy to work with, fade/crease resistant and well-wearing - about 12 hours on average. There are 5 metallics [Shameless, Please Me, Irresistible, Tantric & Desire. I love the creamy pearl/metallic formulas in the brand's current eyeshadow palettes and the metallic shades here are no different - silky smooth and barely transfer (I have deepset/hooded eyes, so no non-matte shade is 100% non-transferable). A new finish for the brand that has been introduced in this palette are the 4 multi-reflective creamy marble-style powders [Passion, Hard, Flower Power & Provocative]; I've not used a powder-based shadow that looks & feels so creamy since the Natasha Denona 10 palette - they look like cream with reflective flecks, and wear as well as matte shadows do. Another new finish for the brand is the 1 opaque gloss which contains bronze & berry pearls [Slippery]. This shade is based on people wearing vaseline over their shadows, for a glossy appearance; as this shade is hand-poured into the palette, everyone will have a slightly different resulting shade based on the amounts of gloss & pearls. Mine is a mid-tone creamy pink. The formulas for everything more than deserves a solid 5 lippies, but I've removed a lippie because the shade selection is a bit restrictive; personally I love warmer neutrals and flushed berries and they fit the theme of the palette perfectly, so I'm highly tempted to go to 5 stars, but I felt that I had to consider that the brand's other large palettes let you go in more directions with their colour stories - here you only really get the choice between berry & neutral.
