I have had cystic acne since I was a teenager, I am 37 now, and this is the ONLY product that works on my breakouts and lightens hyperpigmentation. If I feel a breakout coming on, I put this stuff on in the morning and at night before any other skincare products and I feel a difference immediately. The price tag is extremely high, but well worth it in the end.

Works without irritation!

I have sensitive skin but I'm also prone to breakouts which makes it hard for me to find a product that works without irritating and/or drying out my skin. This serum significantly reduced breakouts and inflammation without causing irritation and keeps my skin hydrated.

Quantity of product low, works

The product works got a few pimples that disappeared without any scars, much better than using retinol but sadly I’m disappointed with the quality of the content in the bottle. My bottle was half way empty. I reached customer service, they sent me another, same thing. I’m looking to buy more serums but I’m afraid of just get half of the product. Already expensive products for the amount of what you get. Anyone else with the same issue?

Immediate Acne IMPROVEMENT!

UNLIKE AHA's, BHA's, Retinoids, Accutane... this serum doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, while simultaneously reducing my acne. It also doubles as a Hyaluronic Acid Serum as HA is used as a base for the serum. Because it doesn't use acids or any harsh ingredients to heal, you can use this with a retinoid or an AHA treatment. I don't use a FULL pipette rather 5 drops for my face neck and décolletage. It is VERY VERY expensive however, but if you have sensitive skin and have tried everything under the sun, maybe consider this.

Did Not Work For Me

I was so hopeful for this line… I have perioral dermatitis, aging skin, and prone to breakouts. Unfortunately using this line exclusively, I had the worst breakout I have experienced in 10+ years. After three days of stopping this line completely, my skin has almost completely healed. Not sure what it is that my skin does not like, but sadly this line did not work for me.

Fantastic

I use my full line of Sturm products everyday and night. I use no other skin care products except Ilia primer and ilia rouge because it’s clean makeup. At 56, my skin has never looked better. I eat out less and shop less so I can attired by Sturm fix!

Unique Product Offering Gradual Results

If you want a "quick fix", this product may not be for you, especially at this price point. But if you are diligent about using it, you will see great results. I use this as my hyaluronic acid based serum in the morning. I use the Super Anti Aging Serum at night. The texture of the Clarifying Serum is definitely more lightweight, and slightly astringent without being drying due to the zinc in the formula. However, it's still hydrating, and provides a nice glow that isn't too much on my combo skin. 3 drops (not a full pipette) is all it takes, every morning. I layer it over the Sturm toner, and sometimes layer another serum (Better B or Brightening Serum) on top. If you have problem areas, I suggest applying the Clarifying Serum all over, and using the Clarifying Spot treatment over moisturizer (if untinted) or sunscreen (if tinted). Gradual, non-aggressive results that will suit your skin better in the long term.

It’s amazing

I am in my forties and am experiencing adult acne. There are scars and acne all over and I was so stressed about the whole outbreak. I stumbled about this product and decided to try. I don’t know what it does but all I know is my skin feels calmer, clearer . I think it is also reducing the possibility of new acne. I am not saying my deep black scars are gone in a week but I am healing and it’s a feeling I love. What’s even better is my skin isn’t dry like how acne products dries one out. I feel so blessed to have found this product. I am grateful

BUMPS GONE

After using this product consistently, I noticed a drastic change in texture and blemishes. This is a lightweight serum that I pat it on my nose for my blackheads, pat on my forehead for texture, and pat on my jawline for acne. This had significantly reduced my blackheads and tiny bumps on my forehead.

Use samples first!!

Just get samples or small sizes first before committing to these products because once you open, you can’t return if it doesn’t work for you. Unfortunately I started breaking out every day and I usually don’t purge when I use face creams since I’ve been on tretinoin for years. I was patient with it but my breakout didn’t improve and my dermatologist recommended I stop using these products.

I just started using this

I just started using this serum, I have the feeling that I may prefer the calming serum over this.
