Soulfood Nourishing Hair Mask

This has been one of my all-time favorite amika masks since I love a nourishing hair mask. I use this on my hair wash days and it leaves my hair feeling so silky and amazing after my wash. If you’re looking for an extremely nourishing mask that will leave your hair extremely soft after I recommend this one.

I used this on my fine, straight hair when I had a bad tangle- almost matted spot in the back. It worked wonders without leaving my hair oily, which is often an issue for me with this type of product. I did avoid my roots/scalp

Don’t let me run out of this stuff!

OMG! Okay so I have super fine 4a/b hair and I use this every week in replacement for a regular conditioner. I used to have super unmanageable 4c hair but then I got an amino acid protein treatment that completely changed the way I viewed my hair and made me excited to start doing it weekly again and THIS IS MY NEW HOLY GRAIL!!! After I shampoo with my medium hair Quai shampoo I use this and leave it in for 6 minutes in 4 sections and when I comb through my hair and wash it out it like almost feels like I didn’t even fully wash it out cause my hair so so completely different and soft and elongated and healthy and moisturized and just I have never had this experience with a conditioner and so grateful I found this. I also have high porosity hair but with my amino acid treatment I can’t use too many heavy protein products and this is just perfect for me. Always follow your hair routine based on your porosity and if you have high porosity hair like me, this is a must.

Decent

I’ve only used this mask once, and I can say it made my hair appear more hydrated after the first day, but it didn’t have any long-term effects on how my hair looked. Especially in the winter, my hair gets very dry and frizzy, so I was hoping this product would help tame that. I’ll have to use it more often to get a long-lasting effect.

A must have for frizzy hair

It works wonder for my frizzy color treated hair, it makes my hair so soft and frizz free. It smells so good.

A must-have in my routine

Ordinarily my hair in between wash days get super dry regardless of my use of leave in conditioner. Since using this product my hair has become increasingly less dry and is something I will definitely continue to buy.

Amazing

Due to my Scottish Heritage (thanks, Mom), I have high-porosity, slightly wavy hair that tends to frizz. This conditioner makes my hair so soft and smooth without weighing it down. Once a week, I also like to mix my Amika Hair Gloss for added shine, too.
