Great, but the slippery handle let’s it down a bit

I received this as a Christmas present. I’ve used it a few times so far. It arrived well packaged. I only use the scalp protector nozzle, directional nozzle and the flyaway attachment. Haven’t used the diffuser yet, but I might use it in the future. The comb attachment is useless for my hair type and think it is only for afro type hair. The hair dryer itself is nice and compact. Only thing I don’t like about it is the handle. It’s slightly too big for my hands and is slippy. I would prefer a slightly thinner handle and some sort of non slip grip on it. I like the memory feature so you don’t have to change settings between nozzles. I use the scalp nozzle to rough dry my hair first on high heat and full power. This takes about 5 mins, less if I let it air dry a while first. Then I move on to the directional nozzle to blow dry it straight with a round brush, on med heat and med power. This takes about another 5 mins. I then use my straightens on it. After that I go over it with the flyaway nozzle which gets rid of all the flyaways nearer my scalp. It leaves my hair looking sleek and shiny. I have noticed my hair feels a lot softer since using this hairdryer. I don’t know if that’s because it’s smoother now. The weight isn’t too bad, but would be better if the handle didn’t slip. I’ve knocked a star off for the handle, otherwise I would give it 5*. I got the case free with it, which is quite large. Could possibly be made smaller. Also got the clips free which are a nice addiction and much better than the cheaper butterfly clips which can pull and snag your hair.

The hairdryer was a Christmas present from my husband. We stayed at a hotel recently who had Dyson hairdryers in all their rooms and I used ours for the first time. My hair is fine and it suited my style(!) and remained good for a couple of days. Hence My Christmas gift!

C est Mon cadeau de Noël j en suis raide dingue ! J ai envie de me laver les cheveux tous les jours !! J aurai bien aimé qu un accessoire boucleur soit adaptable mais je ne crois pas que ce soit possible ! Tant pis !

Excellent dryer

Especially like the feature where the dryer cranks down when you put it down. Saves switching it on and off.

Easy to use and so quick

I’ve had the first Dyson hairdryer but this one is even better , I am so pleased with the way it works

OK but not worth the money

I bought this three weeks ago after I dropped and broke my much-loved Tony & Guy hairdryer. Couldn’t find a replacement for it so I thought I’d give the Dyson a go. I was expecting great things. However, I do not think it lives up to the hype. I have tried the various attachments and have only found the styling concentrator to be of use.

Super ce séche cheveux qui met vite en place le brushing sans abîmer la chevelure. En plus il est beau à regarder !

Super! mais toi much et dommage pour les français

Il est très beau, il est très très high-tech, il sèche très bien. Mais pour le packaging c’est trop ! On ne sait plus ce qu’il faut garder ou jeter est-ce qu’il n’y a pas un accessoire caché dans tous ces jolis petits bouts de carton de partout ? Et après ? On fait quoi avec cette usine à gaz ? Pas un petit mode d’emploi en français ou un lien vers des vidéos en français… donc encore un truc après lequel il va falloir passer des heures pour comprendre comment ça marche …
